Our team is
focused on 5 core principles when working with children:
1. Safety
First -
Safety always
comes first!!! This is achieved through training, vigilant awareness,
and constant reminders that nothing is more important than safety when
it comes to working with children. All of our employees are certified
in both CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and many hold
additional certifications in both safety and skill training from USA
Gymnastics.
2. Think of
Others -
We firmly believe
that those who consistently think of others first not only make the
best decisions, but ultimately lead the most meaningful lives. At
Tumble Jungle our staff is committed to always thinking of others
first and teaching the children we work with to do the same. We feel
so strongly about this that it is both one of our guiding principles
and one our teaching principles.
3. Positive
Reinforcement -
The glass is
always half full at Tumble Jungle. Focusing on positives yields far
greater results than harping on negatives. We always focus on
rewarding children’s positive actions.
4. Fun is
Mandatory -
If it isn’t fun
why are the children doing it? Not to mention that children learn best
when they are having fun!
5.
Challenge & Celebrate -
Our programs
constantly challenge children physically, mentally, and socially. That
means we have a lot to celebrate when challenges are met and
development ensues. It is not only important to challenge the
children, but it is equally important to celebrate their
accomplishments!
